I would guess it's not a result of air pressure in the crankcase and cam regions. That would more cause an oil-ladened gas. Sounds more like something a bit off in the oil supply to the rocker's, or, as mentioned by another, the gasket on the cap is bad.. Geez, that's a wild guess.
