I was in the same position once, but had the carpet removed from the trunk at the time and was able to reach through the back seat..... I think you should open up one of the doors and pressurize the system with one of those hand vacuum/pressure pumps to open the locks/fuel fill. My best guess is start on the rear passenger door.
