IMHO.....One of the problems with speakers in the A-Pillars is that they are so far away from the woofers the system will suffer from a phase coherance problem..I always found that tweeters sounded better if they were less than a foot from the woofers they are coupled with electrically....Personally in my car I have the tweeters surface mounted on the kick panels aimed at the center of the car......
