The product being discussed here is for spark-ignited engines only. Stick with Redline. I would not use this product in a diesel engine. If you want to purge, then PartsShop sells Lubro-Moly's "Diesel Purge". Those are the only products I would use in your car for that purpose aside from one other product that you can only buy from a local diesel (truck) injector and pump repair house.
