Regardless of one's views on the Middle East, the environment, etc., crude oil supplies are not going to last forever. Whether it's in 10 years or 1,000 years...eventually we'll need a replacement.
It just amazes me how many people will simply ignore, or even actually fight against, a better way of doing something.
