Music transposing software - dont know where to look

Hey guys, I know there are some musicians here, hope y'all can help.

My wife played the Clarinet in HS (we are 30) and is getting back into it for church stuff. In church, she is often given music handwritten by someone else becuase they need to transpose the music to a key useable by her clarinet (If you want to recommend a good brand of clarinet for a gift, I'll hear that too =)
Be both know what transposing is (I think) but lack the skills necessary to do it ourselves. (you gotta know what part of the chord everything is, I never got much past what the lines and spaces were named =) She often cant read what the church people give her (nor can I =)
I KNOW there is software that does this with a click - so what I'm looking for is this.
1) lets you enter the music (by typing) relatively easily, we dont have MIDI cards or the keyboarding skills necessary to use them
2) lets you transpose from one key to another
3) Freeware would be great =) Windoze platform
4) Maybe even save as a .wav or .mid file if she wants to hear it for practice...

if you plug this stuff into google its tough to know what to look for. Any names/suggestions would be great

Peace -John
