ok sorry.. yeah the mice can definately be a problem.. make sure to close off the vents...moving it once in a while is not a bed thing either.. wherever you park, do so in a spot where water runs of best.. pointing upward so the bed drains etc.. i have parked some of my past junkers on all kinds of surfaces and don't really see much difference in them. it's what you park under (or in the way of) is what makes the difference to me.. maple and needled trees are the worst because they "drip" all the freaking time.. leaners may crash onto the vehicle in a strong storm..
