The Dr that I am friends with purchased the SD that I have in about 85. He still raves about the car and really seemed to like it alot. I think fuel mileage was a big buying point. The original owner owned a trucking company and picked the car up for his wife. Since he owned a trucking company he already had people capible of maintianing diesels on his staff and got cheaper fuel. I am not sure if the original owner still drives MB's or not, I don't really know him. I see hime ridding his Jesse James chopper now and then.(very cool bike
) If I remember the story correctly his wife wasn't a big fan of the car and didn't drive it much. Present day I think his wife has a Bentley GT if I remember correctly.
