I got creative and jockeyed the SEL around until I got it out...drove on my beloved grass a bit but it's frozen anyway. I called about the 560SEL but ran out of time to go look at it. I don't have a huge concern about some lubricant leaks, as long as they aren't huge, but the seller indicated that it is burning oil too, which I'll take to mean that it smokes...sounds like head gasket/coolant problems, or it could just be that oil is dripping on the manifold and he smells hot oil. The seller didn't seem too conversant with mechanical stuff, so perhaps this is simple. Guess I'll have to satisfy my curiosity and take a look at it. Still no Jeep keys, and of course it's the key with a chip in it, so the Jeep will likely have to be towed to the dealer, and I'll need multiple keys and remotes.
