When I did mine for my SD (now wrecked), I got motor/mast complete shipped for under fifty, NEW, Hirschmann.

I understand that his is a bit more expensive. If someone is parting out w/reasonable price, figure go ahead and get the complete unit.

Is replacing the mast just a matter of cracking open the motor cover? Seems like it would be. Thanks.
