What Size Cup

Brother of The Benz, lymlyt
Shocks don't normally cause abnormal tire wear, especially cupping.
Tire cupping is caused by two items.
Tire unbalance, it's quite apparent what the correction is.
The other and not quite as simple is "Steering Geometry".
This is when the outer tire in the steering circle is not tracking in the same geometric circle.
A tire is either skidding to the outside and cupping on the outside tread;
Or skidding to the inside and cupping on the inside tread.
Steering Geometry can be adjusted on a frame alignment or front end alignment machine.
I hope this helps.
