What kind of battery cables do you have? I was running 4GA wires, untill I melted the end of it off...
I made myself a 1GA cable, and I have faster cranking speed, and faster starts... AND if I melt that thing, I have bigger problems
For batterys, go to a battery store, grab the heavy SOB at the end of the rack, and make sure it fits... More CCA is better imho. Dont get the cheap one though, because they last about 2 years before you get to buy a new one...
When mine goes, im going to get an optima battery... Not sure if i want red, yellow, or blue top, but whatever has the most CCA wins
