If this car has the 5-speed electronic transmission I think it does, then the control board that lives underneath the shift selector may be damaged (see
this post for details)
I'm not completley sure, but that board may be tied to VIN of your car so buying a used part may not solve your problem. It's probably a dealer-only item.
