When I was shopping for a Fox-body 5.0 a few years ago, I found that ANYthing that ran under $2000 or so was sold by the time I called. I got lucky and found a rust-free, unmolested 120K mile '92 shortly thereafter for $3500 and have had lots of fun making it fast and nimble(r).

Lots of kids are looking for these cars (around here, at least... not everybody has the import tuner bug). Do you have a "Thrifty Nickel" style classifieds paper? Throw it in there for $2k OBO and let the folks make some offers, maybe.
