Yes........I can certainly imagine that it's almost impossible not to run up a $3K tab at the dealer. All they need to do is find a few items on the front suspension and they are immediately at $1.5K. Typical brakes with rotors and hoses will tack on another $1K. The odds and ends that don't work properly (CCU or blower or tach or clock or rear defroster or cruise, etc.) will easily add another $1K. And, they haven't even lifted up the hood yet.........

My SDL is a reasonably good vehicle. The costs to fix the punch list at the dealer would have been well over $8K.
