actually the car got sold to some warner bros. film crew and they are making a movie here locally in Utah using a couple of Orange Benzes and with a Mad Scientist bio-diesel plot involved. My friend retained the right to pull the motors and trans after the fire. Most damage was inside. Can't remember the name of the movie. The pine tree was part of their set and they ask that he leaves it all alone until they make sure their are no retakes.
The other matching benz owned my another friend rented his to the movie and got a new paint job and a return of the car to run another day.
