I was incorrect in that my problem wasn't a drain. I did the battery drain tests, checked starter, belts, on my van. Guess what it was? The belt. Darn thing looked tight, and I retensioned it, yet it finally took me to try to move the alternator pulley by hand, and with not too much force it moved/slipped. I replaced the belt and I'm good to go.
