This Dawes controller website shows a few different ways to hook it up.

It talks about using the intake. (which leads me to believe that a line from the Banjo bolt would be it)

but it also shows that you could use a turbo outlet.. which to ME looks like the short piece of hose that runs from the turbo to the wastegate

That makes sense to me.. the short hose (6 inches long) that goes into the wastegate... the controller would hold that signal and leave the wastegate closed until the spring is overcome.
