Good idea but it's not engine mounts, those were bad on my 2.0 recently and I know what it feels like. As for the fuel injection.. the 16v is a n/a engine with sharp throttle response. But no cars should respond to the application of throttle by banging and crashing as the drivetrain slack is taken up. There is definitely something wrong with my drivetrain.
