Out of the few hundred we have repaired we have never had a piston problem.
What a waste it would be to replace a whole engine for 4 valves being bent. I have a 420 that has had it happen twice, The last time was 400,000 miles ago. He has 850,000 on it currently, drives close to 100k a year and does the rails every year.
