Hello,

Kinda a bummer that no one has gotten to your thread but I think the problem is 99% of the people on this forum own 123's. I'm still a newbie myself and havn't experienced every problem there ever is but I wouldn't mind trying to help. I had to replace the tranny in my 115 when I got it. The brake bands were completely shot....it was a sad day but I got a new one the next week and all was happy.

The only thing I can tell you that might help is that it is not a vaccume problem. There are no vacume controls on these transmissions. I don't know why it would stop all of the sudden or how it is not shifting (ie...revving really high....or just can't grab on and move forward). There is an adjustment somewhere down there. I know where it is for the shift linkage but have yet to mess with the shift point linkage. I dont' think that will be your problem. I'll see what else I can find out though as I need to do a bit of work on my tranny this week as well
