The trans oil and filter was last changed 6 months ago, by MB dealer, and they didn't say anything. Just before that, I had another MB specialist workshop to look at the car, and he mentioned about the reverse and 2nd-3rd gear change, but He said that nothing really can be done on the trans except an (expensive) rebuild. He also advised that sometimes its best not to change trans oil on a old car (why?). But I got a feeling that maybe he just want to make more money...
