I know this is not the right forum, even less the right thread, but I just wanted to say that you should not touch new-born baby hamsters because the scent you leave behind will cause the mother hamster to devour her young, usually by first biting off the head and then consuming the rest of the body...I just wanted to post here because more people will read it and the attention just gives me a tingly feeling that runs down from my head to the tips of my toes...
