Ok, Fellas. I drove the 1985 300D Turbo Diesel today. It has 110k miles. The main thing I noticed was that it is very anemic. I am wondering if the turbo is even working. A Mercedes mechanic has gone thru it according to my owner buddy. Supposedly, the "rubber" hoses connected to each side of the injectors were replaced cuz they were leaking (don't know what those hoses do). Also, the water pump was replaced.

Some minor electrical stuff but nothing I am worried about.

The mechanic in me is telling me that there seems to be something amiss with the power of the car. Even for a diesel, it should have a little bit more pep.

Any thoughts????
