you are prob right about the f1, but i think in the indy cars they use the clutch to take off but not to shift.

when i first got my dodge six speed my left knee hurt a lot, after three years it doesnt anymore. maybe i cured it.

i have had several 240s with 250k on the clutch. can an automatic match that? maybe with really good care.
