Would you believe we got the plug wires on the right spark plugs and the stupid car ran 100% perfectly all day. One of the old wires literally broke in half, and spilled out what looked like green copper corrosion...I don't want to jinx myself but so far, so good. I purposely drove it to the intersection where it normally starts acting-up on the way home and it ran just fine. The warm idle is still 1050-1100 which is clearly high, but seems lower than it did prior to the plugs and wires being changed.
