Absolutely - Go.

Absolutely - If you’re not completely satisfied (and comfortable) with the person providing the services that directly affect your health and/or well being, fine another. A professional care giver should by no means take offence to your moving on.

As for transferring your records. You should have no issues there. Being dental and not medical, should make things easier as well. If your new (next) dentist wants your current records, he/she can request them. Many dental facilities prefer to give you a complete exam and x-rays when you start with them anyway, regardless of existing records. Most insurers provide 100% coverage for this.

Bottom line - like Kuan said - “Just go.”

BTW - Wasn’t it the health care industry that brought forth the term: “Get a second opinion” ??
