not a mechanic and not too sure what happened here but I feel on a newer vehicle of this caliber, if they make a mistake on the diagnosis ($9,000) mercedes should reimburse the insurance company. (why would a harness cost this amount anyway, overengineered!!!!!!!) Now, it may just be coincidence or it may have been a reasonable diagnosis, but if this is for the money, this is really a rip off and the reason insurance is soooooo expensive.
