My Report on the NEW Zaino Z-5

Well, I got this product yesterday and as fate would have it,
I was in the middle of detailing the inside of my 560 SL. I finished up, washed the car and did the New Zaino Z-5.

Did the Polish Loc and proceeded to apply the Z-5. The color is now purple. Same distinct smell or is it odor. I kinda like the smell. Took my time waited for everything to haze up and removed. Ideal temperatures on the Esat coast yesterday and great drying day!

I gotta say that I don't see a whole lot of difference. I've got about 22 coats of Zaino on the car as it is and the remarkable shine is there, but is it any better? I don't see any difference. The old Z-5 did just as well. Remember my car is 18 years old on original paint and it's that Black Pearl. Black Pearl will look cloudy if you painted it with Rustoleum. Up close the same mirror shine, but no marked improvement for my money. Sal touts this stuff as pretty close to the second coming of our Lord and Saviour.

I am a loyal Zaino user and have spent a small fortune with Zaino over the years. I use most all the products in sal's barn, Z-5 doesn't show me any vast difference. If you have swirling and need to fill light scratches, and I mean light it's just OK. Seciond thought, FAIR.

I think I'm gonna over coat it with the Regular Polish to get the deep shine I like.

Sorry to disappoint all of you but scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 5. Sorry Sal!
You may be trying but your not there yet!

The product doesn't equal the hype!
