I have a leak on what I think is called the B2 cover. It is the large round disk on the passenger side closer to the back of the transmission. It leaks about 2 ~ 3 tablespoons every night. I have done searches on the forum and found a link to the B2 piston replacement. In the link step 9 says:

"A most important point: do not, repeat: do not, remove the very large "O"-ring that seals the B2 piston cover. It is near impossible to re-install on a transmission still located in the vehicle. "

I think that this O-ring is what I need to replace to stop the leak. Has any one tried this with the transmission in the car?

Also, I can push this disk in with my hand and there is spring pressure behind it, should be able to do this?

Other than the leak the transmission works fine.
