About the spare wheel, that's a GOOD idea to have. Any foreign recycler should have a good Bundt style wheel to match those on your car. Either with tread on it, or get a used tire and have it mounted balanced, or a new tire on it if that's your fancy.
There may be problems on the way, but you wil really enjoy driving one of these cars, they are not like gas cars but you do get used to them.
