It helps if you have an oil cooler hose wrench. Buy a cheap 27mm or 1 1/16" combination wrench. Cut two "points" out of the box end (so that the box end can slip over the cooler line hard pipe), then cut the open end off so that about 60% of the "handle" remains on the box end. You will experience all sorts of aggravation getting an ordinary wrench on the lower filter housing hose fitting.
