Hey Guys,
I have an annoying problem with a stuck accelerator pedal on my 83 300D. Often, my pedal will stay a little depressed after completely lifting my foot of the pedal. So, when I lift off the accelerator pedal to brake, I can feel the car still being accelerated. I then have to stick my foot under the accelerator pedal to lift it up. I have found that the linkage on the valve cover is what is hanging up. The little white plastic roller seems to be binding and not allowing everything to move back. Has anyone else had this problem? It is a common problem? Can I buy the bushings or the entire linkage? Any suggestions?
