I have the car back. The shut-off valve was OK. It had fuel on it due to the lines leaking at the pump. This reduced the estimate about $260. The total damage was $510. The technician said that the copper washers are actually, the same as used on a 603 engine which is in part why they were not listed for a 606. Now to get back to taking care of the 1981 300D.
