there has been no studies.... and that is not a piston run for a relatively short time on veggie oil....you must remember people have a lot to loose if we start driving on veggie oil... the oil companies, and the car companies, the gov, that is why they killed mr Diesel becasue he wanted to run on veggie oil... so all this stuff is just lies...

the piston from that photo is from a car that had a couple hundred thousand miles on it... and then they ran it on veggie oil for a relatively short time... dissassembled it and said "look at this piston" No one has gone out and bought a 70k dollar new diesel car and ran it for a relatively short time and then dissassembled the engine and taken pictures of the pistons...no one has the funds....
