Thumbs up FS: 1987 300E Black on Parchment $6500 DC/NoVA

All,

Car is garaged in Northern Virginia. I have spent more than $9000 on this car over the past year and a half. I'm asking only $6500 . I'm not in a hurry, but hope to sell by end of year. Hoping to live car-free for a while.

Car has been maintained by American Service Center Mercedes Benz of Arlington, VA and by MB Motors of Fairfax, VA. MB Parts used in all repairs.

I am technically third owner (owners 1&2 were related).

See web page at http://mb300e.home.att.net

Overall condition:
-----------------------------
Mechanically this car is in EXCELLENT condition. As you can see from the recent maintenance history, most major repairs have been completed. This car is very strait, runs smooth and quiet, and is a dream to drive. You must drive to appreciate how nice this car is.

Car does not leak or burn oil. Very tight engine.

Interior is in good/great condition. Leather (not MB tex) is wrinkled, but has NO tears.

Known issues:
--------------------
Car was keyed down passenger side and on boot, can be repaired through buffing and/or mild touch up.
Small shallow dent in rear passenger quarter panel just above bumber, barely noticeable.
Couple of door dings on passenger side.
Broken net behind drivers seat back.
One of the driver seat lifts is not working. Listserve has
documentation on how to fix this yourself.
Cruise Control does not work.
