I'm now in the habit of draining the oil overnight.

I put a coffee can below the lower oil cooler line fitting and crack the fitting.

In the morning, the can has about 20 oz. of oil inside.

If you leave this oil in the system, the oil turns black immediately. It's probably not an issue, however.
