I just bought some off-cut scraps of galvanized metal from a local fabrication shop. Cuts easy with some tin snips. In fact, typically a fab shop will just charge you scrap price per pound for it.....

Basically, I just cut flat strips and glued them in......

P.S. Pawo, No problems, I truely believe in "Credit where credit is due....."
