There is building black gunk in my inline prefilter in my 85 300D. Car just grumped to a halt for the first time too. I am fearing fungus amungus. I will change the prefilter, but my hunch is this fungi likes nice warm diesel. I dont want to get into this tank screen cleaning business. Suggestions? Maybe just silt from a bad batch o' diesel, but i doubt it.
