I just found that information on the public record at alldata.com for my year and model. I guess it's wrong info? I suppose you are right about this not going away but the problems will run undiagnosed until the harness is disturbed, which is exactly what happened in my case. The car ran fine until I had the first headache addressed, which involved moving the harness. It seems that there are a lot of 92-95 e-class owners on this forum so if we can formulate some kind of approach that would be useful to all concerned. My negotiating skills and BS are only a little above average and I would like to leverage whatever else anyone has used to get some relief from MB...
