I was hit early this summer while standing in front of my car and did considerable damage to the vehicle. After a 2 month long insurance fight I am down to the brass tax of getting my cars damage paid for. The adjuster said they were going to total it of course and I will probibally get a beginning offer for around $1800. Naturally I am not going to let them do this and do have about 10 sales on ebay printed out ranging from 7,000 to the mid teens. If anyone has experience in this process and know how I would greatly appreciate any advise in getting them to fix it instead of totaling it. I think the irritating part is the fact that I have had to park it and wait for the insurance which has been two and a half months.
