I am also interested in what was improved from OM617 to OM 60x and beyond... I don't think the thread starter was trying to compare one engine to another other than to find out what changed (and improved efficiency/hp)
From the 617 to the 603, didnt the change the shape/size of the prechambers ?
Did Injection pressures remain constant throughout ?
Didnt the injectors change between the 617 and the 603's ?
Bore x Stroke ratio changes ? did they change this ?
If you can answer these, I'll try to find more =)
