A forum is for conversation and sharing of thoughts. So whether you like it or not here is my belly button.

Does it snow in Chicago? Do they salt the roads? Assuming this car lived in
the snowbelt, and has 275,000 miles it has some rust. That will be the exhaust system, the suspension components, and will be evident in the front of the car in and around the engine compartment.

No service records? What about the transmission at 275,00 miles? The only way that car makes sense iis with records so that it can be determined exactly what has been replaced. A/C is guaranteed to have failed at least once on that car over it's long life.

I have two sitting in my drive right now. '92 Sportline with 244K on it.
Many many things replaced, rebuilt. Thousands of dollars. I also have a '93 Sportline bought on a whim on e-Bay. You would not believe the stack of dealer receipts ( $36,000 worth of invoices). I also had a '90 300E from 100K to 175K same story, predictable.

Good luck selling it at that price.

Steve
