I would think it a good thing for us to raise questions and offer opinions. Don't take anything for granted. Each one of us hopes that their advise/opinion is correct or at least in the right direction. None of us will be 100% correct.

But that aside, If I have a question or a problem that I am presenting to this forum, I would like a frank opinion from anyone willing. It would then be up to me to decide to act upon such. Let me filter it out. I know I don't know everything. That's why I'm asking for help.

I welcome anyones opinion.

That said, Why would the camshaft need to be replaced and why would a new one be expected to tick? I don't ask this because I doubt it, but because I wish to be educated. I expect that there is something I can learn here.
