Mat cleaning.

Proper cleaning of floor mats is a must. Carpet holds more dust and dirt per square inch that any otherr fabric.
1) a throughly vacumn the mats take a brush and hit the back pf the mat to release stuck in soil.
2) pre spray with a good carpet cleaner and using a nail brush work in the cleaner to dislodge and loosen dirt.
3) I have two machines that will use a rinse and vacumn tool to purge and suck up the dirt. A Bezel or dirt devil can be purchased at your local sears that will be do the same.
4) Mercedes-Benz mats have a thin backing on the bottom and once wet this backing is distroyed and starts to peel off.
5) a coat of fabric protectant on the mats once dry will help keep the dirt from migrating futher down into the mat.
6) still better yet go to your local auto parts store and by a cheap set of clear mats to protect yours . Safe the mats for a hot date or a car show.
