Hey Mespe, thanks for your opinion. I think that you make sense.
Man, I am in a pickle about what to do about this MBZ I bought 6 weeks ago. It is such a solid car with very little wrong with it. 1984 300 SD, but I realize that it is too big for me and that it only gets 24 mpg (at best) on dino diesel. This is the average for this model and really not bad for a heavy, sturdy car.
BUT. . .

I want to sell it and buy a 1983-1985 300 D turbo instead, but I'm actually scared that I will not find another MBZ in such good condition.
If I hang onto the 300 SD then I'll want to have the front seats re-padded =$$. I'm finally going to start filling up on biodiesel tomorrow. This is the beginning of phase 2 of my informal study. What to do? Hang onto this larger car or sell and start the search all over again?
