My front grey mats were stained with brownish dirt. Washing in the bathtub with detergent did not work.

Having successfully used Woolite Oxy II (comes in two metal cans attached to one sprayer) on in-house carpet stains, I decided to try it on my mats. The stain is completely gone, and required no significant work.

All I did was bring in the mats, vacuum front and back with my household vacuum cleaner, spayed on the Woolite, waited three minutes, blotted with a clean, white towel, and then let them dry in front of a fan. Also eliminates any odor.
