Well... what sort of sound are you after? A more bassy sound judging by all the RF kit. I doubt you'll get a 5" midbass in the dash, as theres not a lot of mounting depth there. (You'd have to cut into the air vent piping)You may want to stick with the 4" for this location.

In terms of bass, are you sure you need 2 12s? A good 12 (I use an NHT) mounted in the spare wheel well gives me a flat response to about 10hz, and up to about 135db with no problem. Fine for normal use, tho a little weak for competition. I also lose no bootspace or spare wheel.

Has your 300E got speaker pods on the door or not? If not, you can just get the updated door pockets with speaker cut outs.
