I have had a similar expierience with cooks collision also. I also reccomend avoiding all Kniesels loactions too. They did a terrible job repairing my dads SL600 when it got into an accident.
I highly reccomend going to the Burlingame shop. One of my clients (used to work in insurance) took his E55 to their shop, and they did an amazing job. The paint matched flawlessly, and they have top notch service.
