A quick caution here of your oil level. Are you saying that it is above the top full mark? If so, you are risking a hazardous situation with overfill. Do NOT overfill the oil on a diesel. Do a search on "runaway" and you will see what I mean.

As far as the leak, if this just started with an oil change, I would ditto the suggestion on the filter cover o-ring. The oil pressure sending unit is on the rear of the filter housing but I haven't read any reports here of that being a problem area for leaks. The other possibility in that area is the block-filter housing gasket. Due to vibration, these start to leak but usually just a few drips and not a puddle.
